Palmer Park Junior Tennis Academy
and New Tennis for Adults, Summer 2013
Want your child to learn to play tennis? Click here for the Summer 2013 registration form. The 10-week session begins June 18 and ends August 20. The class meets on Tuesdays at the Palmer Park Tennis Courts (Woodward north of 6 Mile), from 6-7 pm. Rackets and balls are provided. Tennis shoes are required.

We won! Palmer Park Junior Tennis Academy
to receive award from USTA
We were the top contender in the US Tennis Association’s My Gift to Kids’ Tennis campaign in the Midwest. Since the Palmer Park Tennis Academy received the most donations, we received an additional $1,000 from USTA. Only one program from each district was selected, and Palmer Park was selected for Southeastern Michigan.
Palmer Park’s Junior Tennis Academy was a huge success last summer with 38 students under the age of 10 learning to love the game of tennis, having a great time on the Palmer Park court, and even participating in their first tournament!
Given the great response from parents and children, People for Palmer Park expanded the Palmer Park Tennis Academy to include a winter program off-site at the Dearborn Racquet and Health Club. That program is now complete.
